With this update, we’ve redesigned the player to be more intuitive and user-friendly. Now, the features your audience uses the most—Recently Played, Live Streams, and the Latest Podcasts—are all conveniently accessible with a simple swipe-up tab. No more hunting through menus; everything they need is right at their fingertips.
This means a better experience for your listeners and more engagement with your content. Whether they’re listening to a live broadcast, revisiting their favorite songs, or diving into your latest podcasts, it’s all smoother, faster, and more seamless than ever.
Smart Monetization & Dynamic Design That Adapts to Your Station’s Needs
One of the most common requests we heard from our partners was about what to display when there’s no 300×250 ad trafficked to the player. We took that feedback to heart. Now, if there’s no ad running, the player will automatically show who’s on-air when the stream is stopped—keeping listeners engaged with your station.
Once they hit play, things get even better. The player dynamically transforms, displaying album artwork for the currently playing track while smoothly shifting the background color to match. It’s a sleek, immersive experience that your audience will notice.

If your station offers multiple live streams, we’ve made it easier than ever for your audience to find and switch between them. Now, accessing your Live Streams is just a swipe away—literally.
With a simple upward swipe, listeners can instantly see all your available streams and seamlessly switch between them. And here’s the really cool part—when they select a different stream, it starts playing immediately, and the Recently Played list updates in real time to reflect the new stream’s tracks.
It’s a smoother, more intuitive experience that makes it effortless for your audience to explore everything your station has to offer.
All Your Latest Podcast Episodes in One Place
Your station’s podcasts just got even more accessible! With the new OneCMS player, listeners can now find every recent episode your station has published—all in one place, right within the player.
It’s as easy as swiping up, tapping the Podcasts tab, and selecting an episode. No extra steps, just instant playback right in the player. Plus, all the playback tools your audience expects are built right in, including adjustable speed and 30-second skip forward/back.
We’ve also included a brand-new Episode Details tab for easy access to show notes.
And if your station is using OneCMS AI, we’ve got even more good news: Chapter markers are front and center in the Details tab, making it effortless to jump to key moments. (And stay tuned—transcriptions are coming soon!)

One-Click Access to All Your Streams—Right from the Home Screen
Another exciting update—based on partner feedback—is the addition of Live Stream Tiles right on the home screen. Now, your audience can see all of your active streams at a glance and jump into any broadcast with a single tap.
This means greater visibility for all your streams, making it easier for listeners to discover everything your station has to offer—whether it’s your main broadcast, an alternate music stream, or a special live event. More access means more engagement!
Engage Your Audience with In-App Polls
We’re always looking for ways to help you boost listener engagement, and our latest addition does just that—Polls are now available in the OneCMS app!
With OneCMS, you can now enable polls in your app, allowing your audience to vote on topics, share their opinions, and interact with your station in real time. Whether it’s choosing the next song, weighing in on a hot topic, or predicting the outcome of a big game, polls give listeners an easy, fun way to participate.
To drive even more engagement, you can upload a custom image to display on your app’s home screen—making the poll more eye-catching and encouraging more clicks and votes.
It’s another great tool to increase engagement, gather insights, and keep your audience coming back for more.
Some Other Improvements we've made.
- Display More Content – The home content widget is now more flexible than ever. Previously limited to just 5 posts, you can now show many more posts—giving you more room to highlight important content, promotions, or updates for your audience.
- Increased Homescreen Ad Flexibility – You can now use the first banner position on the home screen to display a 300×250 ad, instead of just the 320×50. This opens up more monetization options, especially for selling that prime above-the-fold ad slot to advertisers. It’s a great new sales opportunity that can help boost your revenue.
